Nokia Announces New Luxury Phone

I remember when the Nokia 8890 cell phone started to sell in 2000, people where stopping me on the streets because of that nice tiny little phone that was so small and so beautiful. The 8801, announced today with a planned availability towards the end of the year, walks in the same footprints of nice looks and special features. All ringtones are composed by Ryuichi Sakamoto, a famous japanese composer who made the sound track from "The Last Emperor" and "Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence". The design borrows watch-making techniques such as reinforced scratch-proof glass for the display and metal injection modlings on the function keys.

Study Finds No Link Between Brain Cancer And Cell Phones

A new study found no link between cell phone use and brain cancer after interviewing people with and without brain cancer. The study found that no matter how frequently or how long people used their phones, it didn't increase their chance of having a brain cancer. The authors of that study say that risks can not be ruled out, though, since cancer may take more time to develop. That study is interesting because it wasn't paid for by a cell phone company, it comes from the Danish Cancer Society.
